Meet Push‑to‑Talk
I kept getting caught on an open mic in my own focus calls, so I built the fix: hold Space to talk on Google Meet, muted the rest of the time.

permission requested. No data collected, ever.
I had a problem in my own work calls: open mics picking up every keystroke. I looked for a fix, didn't like what I found, built one, used it, and published it for everyone. Everything after this started here.
The problem
In co-working and focus calls on Google Meet, open mics pick up typing, breathing and background noise, and muting by hand is easy to forget.
What I built
The mic stays muted on every Meet call and only goes live while you hold Space, like a walkie-talkie. A toolbar switch turns it fully off.
Where it stands
My part · Hit the problem myself, built the fix, used it daily, then published it.

Safety and trust
What protects the people who use it and the data inside it.
